Is there such a thing as global warming? Yes. Global warming is mainly caused by the depletion of the Ozone layer, and it is partly due to the excessive concentrations of carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere.
The Ozone layer protects the Earth from the harmful UV rays of the sun by filtering out the excessive heat and radiation levels found in such unfiltered UV rays. In turn, the land and seas of the Earth deflect the heat and radiation levels it does not need to absorb back to space. With the depleted Ozone layer, unfiltered UV rays penetrate the Earth's atmosphere. The excessive concentrations of carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere, on the other hand, trap the heat and radiation within the Earth. This then causes floods and abnormal climatic changes around the globe.
